Busch Gardens Military Free Admission for 2015

SeaWorld Parks, which owns Busch Gardens, has announced that they will be continuing their very popular Waves of Honor Military Salute program for 2015.

This program was previously known as Anheuser-Busch’s Here’s to the Heroes.

the Waves of Honor program allows current military members (Active, Guard, and Reserve) as well as up to 3 direct dependents free one day admission to one of the Busch Gardens theme parks.

You can obtain your ticket voucher online at the Waves of Honor website.

Waves of Honor is a program which offers U.S. Military Members to one complimentary admission per year for themselves and up to 3 direct dependents to either SeaWorld®, Busch Gardens®, Adventure Island®, Water Country USA®, or Sesame Place® or Aquatica SeaWorld’s Waterpark™ in San Diego and as many as three direct dependents.

This is a fabulous offer that they have extended year in year out, not just in the recent hard economic times. Their caring and support for our military is greatly appreciated! More than 3.2 million members of U.S. and coalition armed forces and their families have used this great offer.

Eligible members are: active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman.

Valid military identification reflecting active status or dependent ID required for offer and must match the name on this voucher.

Inactive, standby and retired reserve members, military retirees, U.S. Merchant Marine and civilian Department of Defense workers are ineligible for the program.

Salute to the Military on Veterans Day at the First Annual James River Jam

Williamsburg, VA  – The first annual James River Jam will be held Friday, November 11, 2011, at Busch Gardens’ Royal Palace Theatre in Williamsburg, Virginia. The charity jam session is presented by Tempus Jets and Busch Gardens, and will benefit An Achievable Dream AcademyFolds of Honor Foundation and Eastern Congo Initiative, organizations dedicated to improving educational opportunities for children and young adults.

Event organizers chose the Veterans Day holiday in honor of the local military personnel living and working in the region. A portion of the concert tickets will be given to local military bases for complimentary admission to the James River Jam.

The following artists will appear at the James River Jam on November 11:

  • Joe Don Rooney, Rascal Flatts’ lead guitarist
  • Don Felder, former Eagles guitarist
  • John Oates, singer/songwriter and co-founder of Hall & Oates
  • JD Souther, legendary singer/songwriter
  • Micky Dolenz, lead singer of The Monkees
  • Jerry Eubanks, former member of the Marshall Tucker Band
  • Sam Bush, musician, vocalist and Father of Newgrass
  • Joe Horowitz, musician and Canadian professional golfer
  • Special video appearance from actor and Eastern Congo Initiative founder Ben Affleck
